The anon button was meant for:

  • People who are insecure
  • People who want to make friends but are too shy to do it off anon
  • People who want to spread anonymous positivity
  • People who want to vent/rant to others (with their permission) but don’t want others to know who is doing the venting/ranting
  • People who want to confess something to the person they are sending the ask to (e.g. a crush)
  • People asking others to do something for a sideblog, so they don’t send the ask from their main
  • People who ask questions to others but get embarrassed very easily

The anon button was not meant for:

  • Spreading hate
  • Telling people to delete their blog
  • Telling people they’re worthless
  • Telling people they don’t have friends/don’t deserve their friends
  • Telling people their partners “don’t deserve someone as bad as you.
  • Telling people they don’t deserve to live
  • Telling people their partners don’t love them
  • Making people uncomfortable with intrusive questions on purpose

If you don’t like someone, don’t go on their blog and send anon hate. Unfollow them if you want to. Block them of you want to. But don’t send anon hate.
